We use virtual desktops (VDI) and it seems that your licences attach themselves to computer names. As we use VDI terminal our computer names are never the same. The way that you currently track licences make using ShareGate very unattractive.
We purchase many licensed software solutions and all except ShareGate run in a VDI environment without having the deactivate the licence every time you use it. Could the license model be changed?14 votes

- For backup purposes

When performing actions, successful or not, some organizations might need some logging of all the user actions done in the UI, like what options they used and what actions they performed. This can be a requirement in example, to be BIR compliant (a Dutch standard, based on ISO/IEC 27002).1 vote
