When exporting a lot of metadata, some users hit the row limit with Excel and get an error. Some would like for Sharegate to be able to work around that and automatically create multiple files.

Alistair would like for quick help links and other GUI links to come with a "copy to clipboard" feature attached.

During migrations often we need a configuration that is different from defaults eg migrate without retaining permissions. It would be good to be able to set this at an application level so that human error cannot happen. Perhaps have 'Application profiles' for certain activities, that remain until you change them.

This happened to me where I did not uncheck 'preserve permissions' on a network drive migration and now have 100,000s of documents with incorrect permissions.

Hi - I made a suggestion yesterday and would like to addsomething to it. We have a need to be able to administrate activity across all users of our license key. Our users of sharegate are spread across the globe and not in a single team. We would like the ability to be able to disconnect all/any connected environments by users on our license key. We are having big issues with throttling and this would help - as some users tend to leave connections on when their particular tasks have completed.

It would be really good to have an agent install that can be managed from a central ShareGate install for large scale migrations from File Servers. Currently ShareGate has to be installed and managed on each file server that you wish to upload, making it difficult to get a widespread view of all the tasks that are being done as well as historic reports.

ShareGate should have online version. It will be really helpful for the user to login from anywhere and can work on migration. Licence can be given by office 365 user ID or ShareGate can have there own customer ID and login.

It would be useful to have the ability to easily increase the size of the font.  I have been using ShareGate via our sever and the font is so small as to be almost unreadable.  This may be due to the fact that I am using a very high resolution monitor on my computer and using his to access the server via remote desktop.

I am in the midst of replacing the Sharegate folders again due to issues with connections. We have 70 scheduled tasks that have to be manually recreated each time we have to start over with Sharegate folders. If there was a way to export the scheduled jobs, it would make life so much easier.

When installing Sharegate and first launching the application, some users might face an auto-update and end up with the latest version.
For some organisations, they might not want to allow the update if they need to approve the software.
A solution would be to make the auto-update be turned off by default.

When performing actions, successful or not, some organizations might need some logging of all the user actions done in the UI, like what options they used and what actions they performed. This can be a requirement in example, to be BIR compliant (a Dutch standard, based on ISO/IEC 27002).

Through RDP i can not change the Server Screen Resolution and Sharegate does not show all important button at the bottom part of window if the height of the screen resolution part is less than 720. Just a suggestion that Sharegate window should not have fixed height. If we can have scrollbar for smaller screen resolutions that would be great.

If you have a non-persistent VM, everytime the image is loaded, the Machine Code changes, making the last activation of the tool useless. having a way to either deactivate the software on VM close or adapting the activation on new load would solve a lot of headaches when using non-persistent VMs

i believe i am not the only one who migrate content from home via standard laptop. in that case, some of the crucial options are missing: buttons, links, checkboxes etc.
means, i need to guess how much TAB should i press to get focus on the required control..
scroll bars would be nice.. full responsiveness in 2018 - even better.

Some users like the idea of the pop up to connect to all sites, when they establish a connection to a particular site in the Explorer.
However, once the popup is denied, it doesn't come back and there's no option to restore it.

When there's an update, it's only applied when Sharegate is restarted. However with the application kept open within the app tray, some users that have an always on machine don't always notice there's a new version available. A pop-up, or a small visual cue (or even a button) to advise to restart Sharegate would be useful. Sometimes the updates are necessary with something like a connection to Office 365
