When migrating and getting a lot of path too long messages, users may want to change folder names or structure. It would interesting if a folder structure tool could be made to easily change the folder hierarchy and names before the migration14 votes
During my transfer of content, ShareGate didn’t keep the variation links between my pages.20 votes
With the new offering from Microsoft, there will be plenty of existing users of comparable collaboration software/SaaS that will be interesting in using Microsoft Teams.
Please add to the roadmap to provide such a feature (e.g. from Slack to Microsoft Teams)!12 votes

I don’t see a “Schedule” button next to “Run” button, like I see with all of the other report sections.7 votes
Would be nice to be able to backup permission and use the backup to bring them back the way they were.16 votes
Some sites have the Content Organizer feature activated and there are hundreds of rules defined. We would like to be able to copy those while migrating our sites.12 votes
Be able to use a different library to run the audit report instead of using the one created by Sharegate

Add the possibility to add permissions at the item level with the reporting tool.
We are currently reconsidering this suggestion and are wondering if it is still a need for you, especially if you are an Office 365 user.
Let us know and we will reevaluate this eventually.

Since ShareGate Desktop now allow us to automatically export migration reports (and other reports) when a task is done to a SharePoint library, you may easily setup a Microsoft Flow or workflow to notify you when a task is over. If you need some inspiration, I wrote a blog post on how users can leverage Microsoft Flow to share reports by email: https://sharegate.com/blog/use-microsoft-flow-automatically-send-sharegate-desktop-reports
It’s not a native way to get notified, but a nice workaround you could use until we add official email notifications (if we do at some point).
- Model PMR extract in Excel as Pivot Tables and charts.
- It would be useful to be able to export the permissions matrix report as a PDF file, as well as a spreadsheet.
-Export the PMR as a HTML report
-list user alerts filtered by site or by user, showing which object/list is targeted
-show me where "user X" has alerts
-show me which users have alerts within "site A"
- Remove alerts for orphaned users52 votesTell us more · AdminJean-Philippe Beaulieu (Voice of the User / User researcher, ShareGate) responded
I was going through the comments in this thread and clearly understood your desire of visibility over user alerts (who created them, type of alerts, etc.) but I am curious to hear how the info would be used, how you would consume the info and most importantly, do you also feel the need to take any kind of actions over the alerts?
I hope I’ll hear from you soon!
I would like to have the anonymous links of documents and files being shared. Right now, I don't know to which address the documents are being shared. I don't want to disable the sharing as some of them are required.6 votes
Remove all users in a site collection without going to each sub-site and removing them from security groups.
I have over 700 users that need to be removed in multiple sub-sites and various security groups. It would take me forever to remove them if I have to add their names individually.
Being able to select many users at a time in the search section for features like “remove permissions”. For now you have to search for one user, add it, search for another one, add it, etc.41 votes
We understand that the situation is not ideal, but we have no plan on doing this for now.
We might get to this eventually.
I have noticed that when you migrate a content type the content type ID is not preserved.21 votes

- Ability to set up a batch of multiple migrations from the UI
- Connect multiple sources to a single destination (or vice-versa)

As it stand, the Reporting feature only supports the "And" logic when adding filters to a report. This is a request to have the option to use the "Or" logic when having multiple filters.53 votes
Our stance still stand on this feature and we still wish to provide it to you guys eventually.
At this point this is more a question of priority and once we feel like our features to move to the cloud and other environnements are on point, we will get to this.
- Create a report what will list all list/site content types that have workflows attached to them.
- Find content Type with workflows
- Is there a report for Content Types in Use and which list they might be in?
- Don't see your idea?
