> Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback via Sharegate’s Uservoice. Unfortunately, the suggestion provided is not in the current roadmap and has therefore been declined. Although the current status of this suggestion is under “decline”, it has not been deleted from our feedback service. Other users will continue to have the chance to vote for this suggestion.
For example, if a file has been deleted in the source after it had gotten copied over to SharePoint, can it be deleted in SharePoint?
The goal is to re-sync only the updates, additions and deletions without the need to copy the whole thing again. It allows to keep on using the source environment while keeping the destination one sync until we're ready to go live with the new site.
-documents (move them to a different location if the user has moved it since the last update)
As much as we hear your need, this is not currently on our road map. We will revisit it eventually.

Add the possibility to add permissions at the item level with the reporting tool.
We are currently reconsidering this suggestion and are wondering if it is still a need for you, especially if you are an Office 365 user.
Let us know and we will reevaluate this eventually.

Since ShareGate Desktop now allow us to automatically export migration reports (and other reports) when a task is done to a SharePoint library, you may easily setup a Microsoft Flow or workflow to notify you when a task is over. If you need some inspiration, I wrote a blog post on how users can leverage Microsoft Flow to share reports by email: https://sharegate.com/blog/use-microsoft-flow-automatically-send-sharegate-desktop-reports
It’s not a native way to get notified, but a nice workaround you could use until we add official email notifications (if we do at some point).
It would be awesome if you had a function in the UI that allowed me to set up a migration, and then generate the corresponding PowerShell (save me the time of figuring how to encode all of my options).38 votes
This is not in our plan as this would be a massive amount of work. We also fear that the results would be supbar compared to an hand-crafted script.
We understand that PowerShell can be intimidating but our documentation is there to help (and so is our incredible support team).
I would like to find all email-enabled libraries and lists in my on premise Sharepoint. How can I do that? I tried creating a new report but did not find the field available to add.26 votesLP Lavoie responded
We understand this need, but seeing as it is fairly trivial to do in SharePoint Management Shell, for the time being we’re concentrating our efforts on more complex scenarios that have no easy alternative.
Would like to have a report that would list folders and/or document libraries that have been created but are empty. Right now I'm looking at easily finding empty folders.
This way, we could easily delete them.18 votes
Have the ability to migrate and update automatically master pages and page layout when migrating a site.22 votes
The idea is to use the migration report to start a new migration of the files that error out only, instead of running a full incremental migration.110 votes
As much as we really like this idea, it doesn’t fit in the current narrative of ShareGate Desktop.
We will for sure reevaluate this one in a near future.
Report on the metadata columns used inside lists and libraries.120 votesNot For Now · AdminJean-Philippe Beaulieu (Voice of the User / User researcher, ShareGate) responded
Since we want to be transparent regarding our roadmap, I just wanted to do a quick update to say that even though we are not declining this idea, we are not planning on adding metadata reporting in the near future. We’ll keep you informed if and when we start working on it.

I was going through the comments in this thread and clearly understood your desire of visibility over user alerts (who created them, type of alerts, etc.) but I am curious to hear how the info would be used, how you would consume the info and most importantly, do you also feel the need to take any kind of actions over the alerts?
I hope I’ll hear from you soon!
It would be nice if reports could pull emails instead of just names. I know some reports can, but not all.

Google sites as a source is not on our roadmap. Our current focus is Office 365 management and security.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
Sharegace can now report on (find) and force check-in of checked-out documents, including “never checked-in” documents. We consider it is better practice to clean up prior to a migration, therefore we will not work on further support for migration of checked-out documents.
As it stand, the Reporting feature only supports the "And" logic when adding filters to a report. This is a request to have the option to use the "Or" logic when having multiple filters.47 votes
Our stance still stand on this feature and we still wish to provide it to you guys eventually.
At this point this is more a question of priority and once we feel like our features to move to the cloud and other environnements are on point, we will get to this.
We don’t plan on adding new source of data in a foreseeable future, so I’ll decline this.
We prefer to offer a solid experience in the world of Microsoft than to add too many sources.
