Smart search or autocomplete search box in Explorer
It would be great to have a smart search or autocomplete search box for when you are looking to quickly connect to a site collection using part of its name.

Sharegate 5.23 now presents a whole new experience in the explorer. You can now filter by site collections, OneDrive for Business and O365 Groups, and search by name or URL.
Take a look at our blog post : https://en.share-gate.com/blog/introducing-the-improved-sharegate-explorer-an-all-new-experience-for-users

Now when I add my 365-tenant it takes forever and forever to get the list of sites. I looked with fiddler and it goes through every site just adding the connection - couldnt it just get that list from the portal more quickly? I just need it to do the connectivity first and then more granular quickly select the site collection to work with and then and only then I need more infor about it.. also when i have thousands of site collections - a quick search to find the site in that mega list would be a great benefit and also to be able to find/select by using url (also sort by url) if you have duplicate site collection display names.

I'm told that Search is coming to Explorer, I really hope you are expanding that idea throughout the product because it certainly needs to be in Reporting & Migration also. We have thousands of sites.

Sometimes i need to modify certain OneDrives. Within an organisation with 5000+ OneDrive users, it is hard to pick the right OneDrive-users via the loooonggg list. Is it possible to create a instant-search field wich will rollup the results once you start typing? (so it will filter on the search keyword)

It would be good to be able to search for a url or title from the explorer. We have > 1000 site collections - makes it difficult to find correct url when showing only the title.

Hi ,
I'm a new Sharegate user trying to find a site in Explorer. Is there a way to search instead of scrolling down the entire list (hundreds of sites)?
Thanks,
David

It would be good to be able to search teamsites and other items with name instead of just scrolling the window. For example we have over 500 workspaces and finding the correct ones for reporting is quite slow with current way.
Thanks for the good tool still :)

I have quite a few sites (300+) in my explorer. It would be a handy feature if I could use some kind of search to find a site/create selections for reports.
Kind regards,
Bas

It would be great in Sharegate Explorer if there was a search or filter functionality that made it easier to select/filter/jump to a certain object. Additionally, pressing a certain key could move the focus to the next entry beginning with the respective letter. If you are connected to the central administration and have a bigger number of site collections e.g., that would make it much more comfortable to reach the object wanted. Thank you!

When working with our customers in our SharePoint portal, the most common thing I do is Copy + Paste URLs to navigate throughout the site. It would be convenient and faster than drilling down a tree hierarchy to be able to do this in ShareGate.

I would like:
1. Making selecting easier. When there are a lot of sitecollections or onedrives it would be nice if i can group them. (studentONedrives and workeronedrives for example)
2. Search through onedrives/site collections on name, url etc to make a selection. Like when i am starting to type it will make suggestions. If i type "Johnson" i will only see the johnsons of the organization.
3. Migration tool like Total commander. Keyboard select directories and make copying and moving also possible to with the keyboard.Get this done within 2 months and i will send you a Dutch Apple pie :)

Within the Explorer tab, we have hundreds of sites and OneDrive accounts, creating a very long list. It would be nice to be able to start typing the name of a site and auto jump down the list, as windows does in explorer folders and the registry editor.
