For Migrations in PowerShell, add -vebose like cmdlet to allow users to see the progress of the migration instead of waiting for the migration to finish/script execution to end.111 votes
We don’t plan on adding progress indicator as we feel it would only become misleading because estimation are really hard to make due to technical limitations.
It would be nice to be able to pause the migration and then later restart it77 votes
Thanks for taking the time to post this idea. We looked at it with the team and for now have decided that it’s not something we will be working on short term.
We’ll keep looking at the requests and update if we anything changes
We don’t plan on adding new source of data in a foreseeable future, so I’ll decline this.
We prefer to offer a solid experience in the world of Microsoft than to add too many sources.
It would be awesome if you had a function in the UI that allowed me to set up a migration, and then generate the corresponding PowerShell (save me the time of figuring how to encode all of my options).38 votes
This is not in our plan as this would be a massive amount of work. We also fear that the results would be supbar compared to an hand-crafted script.
We understand that PowerShell can be intimidating but our documentation is there to help (and so is our incredible support team).
Migration of exchange public folders with Sharegate.19 votes
Though we’ve had support for Exchange Public Folders in the past, we decided to remove it and not support it with our tool.
The intricacies of Exchange and especially Public Folders migration can be quite complicated. We did not feel that we were bringing a good experience to our customers.
Though one should never say never, so we’ll keep you posted if there is an update. Thanks for taking the time!

Clients looking to import from google sites into SP and O36515 votes
Google sites as a source is not on our roadmap. Our current focus is Office 365 management and security.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

This is not on the roadmap for the time being
Right now the only thing we're able to do is to either add a permission level to a SP group or add members. It would be nice to be able to copy the users from one to another7 votes
You could copy all the members of a group to another by using the mappings settings. Here is a link to the procedure:
Unfortunately, the possibility to select which user you want to copy is not something we are considering at this time.
Some users might have Excel or other office documents with links within them that rely on the SharePoint environment where they are located. Sharegate doesn't currently modify these links to the new environment, and this can cause some integrity issues.6 votes
