We collected information and are evaluating this further
Some users would need to be able to generate the Excel Spreadsheet for their metadata using PowerShell. When automating a complex migration, having an export for all the lists with a foreach loop would be a powerful way to take full control of the data during the migration project.30 votes

Currently Sharegate fails to migrate Nintex forms associated with Flexi tasks with an error that 'Nintex Workflow for Office 365 does not allow task forms to be custom'.
Since Nintex now allows the form customization, can we enable Sharegate to move it?27 votes

I would like to find all email-enabled libraries and lists in my on premise Sharepoint. How can I do that? I tried creating a new report but did not find the field available to add.27 votesLP Lavoie responded
We understand this need, but seeing as it is fairly trivial to do in SharePoint Management Shell, for the time being we’re concentrating our efforts on more complex scenarios that have no easy alternative.

At a customer, we are planning to migrate from SharePoint on-premises to SharePoint Online.
They have a lot of MicroFeed lists and they would like to migrate the content.
On your website, I see this is not supported: https://support.share-gate.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000600227-Copying-the-content-from-to-a-MicroFeed-list-is-not-supported. Do you know if there is a workaround for this?

Some users might want to move from a list with attachments to a document library. It could be interesting to have a GUI option to do so.25 votes

Add powershell cmdlets to add/remove/copy user permissions.
This could be useful, for example, for a user that needs to replace thousands of users due to an AD domain change, it would be useful to be able to use a CSV for all the users24 votes
Having a report that show all files with illegal characters.24 votes
It would be extremely useful to have an item count for all list/libraries within a site collection.
We are migrating sites and would like to verify that all content has come over. Currently, we don't see a nice way of showing this.
We do not want to provide the migration results as the validation report as it has too much unneeded information, but are instead looking for something similar to the Site Collection report.
Allow to add list items by adding them to the exported Excel document from the Bulk Edit Metadata tool and importing it.23 votes
Have a regional setting for the date/time format the Explorer and all reports inside Sharegate.
Have the option to use a custom format or use the system format by default23 votes
You can use column formatting to customize how fields in SharePoint lists and libraries are displayed. To do this, you construct a JSON object that describes the elements that are displayed when a field is included in a list view, and the styles to be applied to those elements. The column formatting does not change the data in the list item or file; it only changes how it’s displayed to users who browse the list. Anyone who can create and manage views in a list can use column formatting to configure how view fields are displayed.22 votes
Dear Sharegate Team,
Do you plan to integrate MS Teams as Object Type into "Reporting" in a future release?
Thank you and kind regards,22 votes
It’s been a while since this request has been logged. Since the creation of this thread, Microsoft has added a lot of management and reporting features regarding Teams so I’m curious to hear what kind of reporting does not exist yet that you would like to see implemented in ShareGate?
