Export-report improvement
the CSV format is very useful for further parsing in PowerShell or importing in a SQL database for further analysis or reporting purposes.
However, when errors are recorded for a record in the report, the error message may contain several line breaks, which makes import into a database cumbersome.
Is there a way to avoid the line breaks during the export?9 votes -
Improve file share analysis
Hi, can you confirm whether it's possible to add additional columns that pick up existing metadata when using the "Migration - Plan - Source Analysis - File Share" report. In additional to the default columns I'd like to find out when a document was last created and last modified from a File Share. Is this possible? Also can you confirm whether ShareGate can analyse file content to identify sensitive content before migration. Thank you.

Set mapped value or ignore
We have "set mapped value or default". That's fine but I wish we also had "set mapped value or ignore".
So, it would try to find a match first and then ignore if nothing matches.
This would be nice for scenarios where I'm migrating content and certain metadata is "nice to have" but not essential.
Let's say I’m running a content migration and 70% of the content is successful but 30% fails because a value is missing at destination. To migrate the remaining 30%, I must then go back and change the mapping to “ignore”.I know there are workarounds,…

Merge option not persisted when running a pre-check
In the last couple of site copies I have done, if I choose the Merge option then run a check then go back to check the options again before I run it for real, the Merge option is no longer set.

Copy Views
To have the ability to copy only the views from a list to another would be a great addition to ShareGate Desktop.

Mapping property values
I'd like to be able to map individual property values. Currently we have a large number of previous document versions with outdated values that are not valid in the new system and need a more finely tuned solution than just having the same default value for every instance

Migrate SharePoint calendar to Office 365 Group calendar
A standard SharePoint calendar, on-premise or else, could be used as an Office 365 Group Calendar. Some users might wish to migrate their old team site calendar as such.

Migrate from/to Project Web Servers
As PWS is a SharePoint based entity, Ori is wondering whether it would be possible for Sharegate to support migrations of those types of environments.

Link ShareGate Desktop with Azure Storage Accounts/Azure Blob Storage
Is there a possibility that we can link ShareGate with Azure Blob or Azure Storage accounts? Having direct access to migrate and move data to Blob storage would save a large amount of time since we wouldn't have to wait for large amounts of data to download, and then spend more time waiting for it to upload via their Storage Explorer application.
