Support for incremental Teams copy via PowerShell
Is it possible to add incremental support to the Copy-Team cmdlet in ShareGate PowerShell. The initial copy is supported, allowing bulk migrations using e.g. CSV-input, but performing incremental migrations currently requires the UI where each incremental needs to be started separately.
5 votesWith the release of ShareGate 15.3, it is now possible to run incremental copies of Team copy through PowerShell.
Documentation on how to do this is available here: https://support-desktop.sharegate.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409774802196-Copy-Team-Incremental

Keep name for scheduled tasks when editing options
It's very good to be able to rename tasks thanks to last November 2020 update.
I really love this new feature. But when I need to update a scheduled task setting, once update has been done and saved, the task's name is being lost and I have to rename it again.
Maybe it's an "incorrect" usage from my side, but when I do so, I have to do a 3 steps action to update my scheduled task :
1 : open "rename task and edit schedule", to copy / paste my task name in a notepad before any update, then…2 votesThanks for this suggestion. This was actually a bug and is now fixed.
We really appreciate when users reach out and help us improve our application.

Additional note that the SharePoint group is also deleted in SharePoint and can not be restored
We have received feedback from one of our clients.
During the migration "Copy structure" SharePoint groups were accidentally deleted in the site objects of the source site (right click -> delete permanently). Our client was not aware that the SharePoint groups are also deleted in SharePoint.
Our client only wanted to remove the groups that should not be migrated.
Unfortunately, the SharePoint groups cannot be restored.
Our client had the following suggestion to present the deletion in a more understandable way:
An additional note that the SharePoint group is also deleted in SharePoint and can not be restored.1 voteWith today’s release of ShareGate Desktop 14.2, we made some adjustements to the UI of that delete popup. The impact of the operation should now be clearer for everyone.
Thank you.

Rename scheduled tasks
I rely on being able to rename my tasks. Otherwise, it's generic like "Copy 100 items from Documents to Documents". I need to know what site/subsite it is, and so on. It appears there is no way to rename a scheduled task, even when it's a recurring one. Only the migration report generated after can be renamed.

Replace the X button with a Save button in the Copy options screen
The x in this “Copy Options” dialog box appears to be a Cancel button, not a Save button. ShareGate is normally so on top of its UI decisions – it’s good to know that you’re at least somewhat human. If in a later iteration you could change this to a Save button, us full mortals would be so much more deeply in love with you and your product!
3 votesWith the release of ShareGate Desktop 12.0, we’ve changed the look of this button to reduce the confusion it could cause.
Thank you for this feedback, we’re always happy to listen to suggestions like this that can help us improve the experience with the application.

Migrate Microsoft Teams Chatrooms/Channels
Support migration of Microsoft Teams
-Conversations
-Channels
-Content
-TabsOriginal post:
We need to do a tenant to tenant migration of Office 365. Your tool looks like it could aid with that, but my question is about Microsoft Teams migration. Aside from the Teams content that is in SharePoint, I have not found any supported method to other content from teams such as chats and channel conversation. Is Sharegate working on this?
119 votesGood news!
Starting today, you can now migrate Microsoft Teams using ShareGate Desktop. This is the first version and we will keep improving it over the upcoming months. For the full release notes, please see: https://support-desktop.sharegate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043621432

Fix date jump when editing scheduled migration
A couple of times now I've scheduled a migration to run later the same day. Then I decide I need to change the start time only, not the date. If I I go to the Scheduled tab, edit the schedule for the migration, the date automatically changes to the following day as soon as the schedule window opens. This has screwed me at least a couple of times because I didn't notice it since I only changed the time and didn't touch the date. This only happens when editing the schedule for a migration scheduled for today, not for migrations…
2 votesHello there,
Just wanted to say that this issue has been fix in a recent patch. You should now be able to edit the schedule of a task without it jumping a day for no reason. For more info about our bug fixes, here are our release notes: https://support-desktop.sharegate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360030948832-Patch-11-0-4
