Bulk delete with CSV file in Application
To Have the possibility to do a bulk delete items using a CSV file in Sharegate. This CSV file is prepared by another department acoordingly with business rules.

Recycle bin management
The Recycle Bin in SharePoint to me is very feature light. Would like to see configurable Recycle Bin control added to ShareGate, such a filtering, and the ability to mass select and empty.

Add version comments when doing a bulk edit import
I often update metadata using bulk edit content and exporting and importing metatdata.
It'd be nice to import version comments with the updated metadata to save having to increment the doc versions again to add the comments.1 vote -
manage bulk metadata
As a digital workplace manager I need to be able to migrate 200,000 files (300gb) of data from a file share to multiple different team sharepoint sites. To do this I first need to export the metadata for that file share as a master list of content that needs moving. I then need to match that to the business rules I've agreed with the content owners e.g. files with last accessed dates older than 2 years will be archived. I then need to use the mapping file the content owners have given me to build an EXCEL formula that indicates…

version history
When cleaning up versions, your only choice is to delete all Major Versions or Delete Minor Versions. SPO current version limit default is 500 versions. We are setting all sites to a limit of 100 versions. We need to go in and cleanup 1400 files that have over 100 versions. We don't want to delete all the versions but only want to keep the last 100 versions. Can you add that option in the Version Cleanup tool?

when copying sites, libraries and lists dont add the default documentor item content type
we use custom content types across the board and don't leave the default document and Item content types in libraries and lists. If we use ShareGate to copy a site, library or list it add the default content type which we then have to go through and remove.

We need the metadata extract of the SP documents and to be able to schedule the automatic export.

Check in files with another account
I log on to the software my my personal account, but it would be nice to be able to do the check in as a system account like you can do for a migration/copy.

Find and replace values in bulk edit and content migration
It would be nice to have a "Find and replace" behavior in the custom template of content migration and bulk edit. Right we can use the mapped values, use a custom values, prompt values, create a default one or ignore the property. Would be nice if Sharegate could find specific values and replace it

Bulk edit metadata without affecting version number
We would like to bulk update the metadata of a library. However, we would like to keep the current version number of the documents, so it cannot be increased when we use ShareGate to bulk update the metadata.
