Fix date jump when editing scheduled migration
A couple of times now I've scheduled a migration to run later the same day. Then I decide I need to change the start time only, not the date. If I I go to the Scheduled tab, edit the schedule for the migration, the date automatically changes to the following day as soon as the schedule window opens. This has screwed me at least a couple of times because I didn't notice it since I only changed the time and didn't touch the date. This only happens when editing the schedule for a migration scheduled for today, not for migrations…
2 votesHello there,
Just wanted to say that this issue has been fix in a recent patch. You should now be able to edit the schedule of a task without it jumping a day for no reason. Invalid Administrators for Groups Site Collections
Sharegate identifies the Universal Group Owners an invalid Administrator for every site collection associated with a Group. As this is default behavior, perhaps this should not be identified as "invalid."
2 votesWith today’s release of ShareGate Desktop, it is now possible to set Security Groups as owners.
Thank you for your feedback and don’t hesitate to do it again in the future.

Ability to cancel any migration task
When migrating in Insane Mode, a migration job can get stuck indefinitely In Progress because the Azure Import job to Office 365 becomes inaccessible in the background and this causes users to think their migration is still running sometimes for days. The problem is that users will think the operation still running can cause problems if they restart their migration or migrate new content to that same destination. An option to completely clear the task, a descriptive warning or anything that can help the users know they can safely restart the migration or migrate new content would be necessary at…

Do not put an application shortcut when upgrading
Holy ****!!! PLEASE for the love of Pete STOP putting a freaking shortcut on my desktop after every update!!! I can't stand software that does that!!! RAWR!!!! -- but seriously, love the product, except for that monstrous annoyance!!!! Once I got so frustrated that I accidentally deleted half the stuff on my desktop. Fortunately I had a backup. Ugh!!!
2 votesWith today’s release, shortcut won’t reappear all the time on your desktop.
It took a while, but it’s finally there!
Thank you for your patience.

Search to include sub site names
The new explorer update is great, we can get to all the collections, but makes it hard for those people with subsites.
I know subsites are now considered evil and the Microsoft Sharepoint world is now flat. However some customers still have subsites.
Would be great if the search capability included the sub site names.
Thanks
Phil Worrell2 votesGreat news from Sharegate!
With Sharegate 7.0, you can now search for subsites in the explorer! See this blog for details : https://en.share-gate.com/blog/a-brand-new-unified-and-intuitive-migration-interfaceEnjoy!

Ability to do a multi site selection in the Explorer
I'd like to be able to select multiple select multiple sites in a row by clicking a keyboard key and then select first and last item. Currently, I need to select them one by one.
2 votesHello from Sharegate!
It is possible to select different objects by clicking anywhere on the line. Hold shift and click on another line to select in bulk. It is also possible to select one line and hold ctrl before clicking on other lines to multi-select. We heard you and adjusted the area of the select box so you have fewer chances to lose your selection when using the select box.
Hope that helps! -
Add the "manage columns" feature in the all tasks page
I’d like to see the Source Path and Destination Site Name.
2 votesGreetings from Sharegate !
We released Sharegate 7.2 this week and I think you’ll be happy to discover the new Manage Columns button in the All Tasks History. The “Source Url” and “Destination Url” columns are there, available to add in the view. They will be added at the end, and of course, the columns can be reordered as you see fit.
As always, your feedback is more than welcome, let us know what you think!

Azure Express Route is a dedicated network-level path (e.g. : a physical cable or VPN connection) between your office and an Azure data center. To ensure your network traffic goes through it (including Sharegate traffic), you need to properly configure your own network infrastructure.
If your O365 traffic is configured to use Express Route on the workstation or VM where Sharegate is configured, then Sharegate network traffic will use the Express Route.

Make error records in reports exportable
Just working through our OneDrive sites trying to get match up sites with users making sure everyone has one provisioned.
As I have no access to the site the site with basic details report fails on a large number of them. I still howveer need to extract the info it did retrieve.
I can export the results but not the errors, yet it is the errors I need to fix.2 votesHello,
Thanks for taking the time to post this idea! When exporting a report you can find an Error Tab inside the excel file. From there you’ll be able to see them and fix them.
Thanks!

Can the tabs in the Migration client be grouped? When a new tab appears it always goes to the end of the list. e.g. Clicking details on a should appear next to the task is belongs to rather then at the end of the tab row.

Optimize Clean Orphaned User View
I REALLY wish the "Clean Orphaned Users" view allowed you to export to Excel or open a larger window to see without having to scroll down. Sometimes people get married and have a name change and therefore showup as orphaned users despite still being employees. The only way I can tell is to check a special OU in Active Directory and compare against the Sharegate list BEFORE I select for an account to be removed. This process would be much easier if I could maximize the popup window that comes up when I use the Clean Orphaned Users Sharegate feature.
2 votesSince the 8.5 release, it’s possible to run the “Orphaned user report”, export the results, select some users and clean them from the orphaned users!

Be able to hide O365 groups and ODFB
When connecting a tenant using the admin URL in the Explorer, it would be nice to be able to select if we want to include or not O365 groups and OneDrive for Business or be able to hide them. That way, it would reduce the chance to accidentally run reports on ODFB or Groups when not intended
2 votesSharegate 5.23 now present a whole new experience in the explorer. You can now filter by site collections, OneDrive for Business and O365 Groups, and search by name or URL.
Take a look at our blog post : https://en.share-gate.com/blog/introducing-the-improved-sharegate-explorer-an-all-new-experience-for-users -
Add feature to push permissions from the parent to all of the children.
Push permission from the parent site to all libraries/lists under the site. As well as from the lib to all the sub-folders.
2 votesYou could run a report on your differents objects types that permissions can be broken and run the “Restore Inheritance” action.
