Multi-user selection in the search section for features "add/remove/copy permissions"
Remove all users in a site collection without going to each sub-site and removing them from security groups.
I have over 700 users that need to be removed in multiple sub-sites and various security groups. It would take me forever to remove them if I have to add their names individually.
Being able to select many users at a time in the search section for features like “remove permissions”. For now you have to search for one user, add it, search for another one, add it, etc.

We understand that the situation is not ideal, but we have no plan on doing this for now.
We might get to this eventually.

I want add more then one account to a existing group like this;
xxxxxx@unive.nl; xxxxxx@unive.nl; xxxxx@unive.nl; xxxxx@unive.nl; xxxxx@unive.nl; xxxxxx@unive.nl -

User would like a way to add users in the "Remove Permissions" field of the Explorer manually instead of having to add them one by one. If you have a lot of users from whom you need to remove permissions, adding them one by one through the search field can be extremely time-consuming.

As we migrate from sp2010 to SPOnline, we are preserving our 2010 instance for a time--accessible only by IT; however, to ensure users don't access the sites, we are removing permissions. On the Explorer area of ShareGate, I see the options to grant, copy, and remove permissions--but I need to give the user/group names I want to remove. We have a ton of users and groups with inherited and with explicit permissions so I couldn't efficiently specify who to remove. I think it would be greately efficient if I could tell it to remove all but one user group.

It is currenty not possible to perform a bulk check on a group of users' permissions.
Are you working to fix that? It is very simple in SharePoint, as you know: semmi-colon separated user IDs or email addresses get quickly resolved via Active Directory.
Would bne a very nice add to your alreay rich functionality.

I would like to have the option in many instances within sharegate to be able to upload a list from say a csv instead of having to choose one at a time.

Yes, the lack of effective way to select multiple users makes ShareGate near impossible to use in these types of cases.

Trying to see if there is a way to check and remove 500 plus users from multiple site collections. When I run the Permission Matrix report it will not let me copy and paste all 500 users into Sharegate. It will only paste one user at a time into Sharegate.

Add the possibility to use an excel or CSV list of users, to feed them to the "Specific Users and Groups" Option in the Permissions Matrix Report.
This would become a huge time saver when users need to get permissions and details for a specific set of users.
This helps if you have a lot users

1.) Have 3 categories (tabs) of removal results:
Results, Not Found, Errors (before this release, not founds were showing as deletes, not errors); add Not Found. :)
2.) Change name search box to allow multiple name entries separated by semi-colons or commas, so that when removing permissions, one can create a list and paste it -- I have multiple Site Collections I maintain :) -

The update on the filter was a good idea in theory but not practicality. Before we could get the entire list based on a simple key word, now I have type the keyword for each name I need to select, sometimes that's over 100 times! Is there anything that can be done to make the task of selecting users easier until the next update?

Is there a way to remove all users in a site collection without going to each sub-site and removing them from security groups. What I would like to do is to remove all non service accounts from the site collection so that all security groups are empty.
I need to check them off in a list. I have over 700 students that need to be removed in multiple sub-sites and various security groups.
