1.) I would like to be able to report on Security Groups.
Right now you can run a report on object types such as "Office 365 Group", "SharePoint Group", and "User". Unfortunately, there is no "Security Group" listed in the drop down. If I run a permissions matrix report on a site collection it will return one, so the system does see it and even tags it as a Security Group.2.) Its not only a useful feature to have, but it with many of us migrating to O365 an Exchange online, these groups may need to be recreated in the cloud. If I can run a report of all Security enabled Distribution Lists in my SharePoint Environment, then I can focus on clean up of DL's not being used anymore.
I can also thing about recreating these as an Office 365 group instead. -

To be able to report strictly on Security Groups type users that have permissions in an environment.

Currently, there isn't any way to know if a permission wasn't copied because an AD group is missing at the destination. It would be interesting to see this information in the Migration Report.

Migrate active directory groups into sharepoint groups

It's not always necessary to see the members of Active Directory groups in the Permission Matrix Report and I would like the option to filter those out when expanding all groups.
