I have to report to my IT director that would like to get a map view of our SP collections and subsites .

I have to do it manually and it's very long and complicate.

And last point get the exact SP type in the report ( Classic , Teams, YAmmer , groups etc.)

A tree of sites and site components would be awesome.

We are as SP administrators definitely need this feature to be added in SG. It is essential to restructure the SP sites/sub-sites.

It would be nice if there is an illustration of sub-sites chart. That will drive to perceive the environment of SharePoint and its hierarchy.

I would like to have it represented visually like an Org Chart (an "Information Architecture chart" or visual site map, though), similar to what we can do with examples like this using PowerShell/Visio: http://iedaddy.com/2011/11/sharepoint-information-architecture-diagram-using-powershell-and-visio/ - but automated, so we can run/view real time/when needed.

I would request it be initially visible at whatever level you enter to start on (the initial page just requesting the web address) with expand/click through to view levels above and below what is returned.

In each box or chart cell, I'd want it to have the title (of the web app, tenant, collection or web level's website) and URL, and the URL be a clickable link (to go to the website).

If it's too much to display a level with everything under it (to the web object) the cell could have Expand Children to expand next-level child objects under it. A count of the number of objects under each cell that would display near the expand links would be nice.

If possible, would like to be able to grant people who are not collection admins or site owners (but maybe users) access to view the entire reports - so if there's an overall manager or CIO, director, of everything web, for instance, and they want to see if something already exists for their location, they could be granted access to run the report/view it. Understandably, all the links to the websites would not work for everyone as only those with permission would be able to open them.

Would want to be able to have a way to save off a pdf org-chart of a fully expanded tenant/web app with all collections, and to save off a collection showing all subwebs.

A visual representation of a site collection in PowerPoint or Visio, giving folder & file count and folder/file size would be really useful. It really surprises me that MS themselves do not include this in the reporting features of SP.

Is there a way to generate a report to export that lists all sites and subsites in a tenant(in a hierarchical way), or starting at a site and then see every subsite under it? I have looked for documentation, and look throughout the tool and cannot figure it out.

Add options to interpret the results of the inventory. Hierarchy, charts, visuals, etc.

Hello. Isn't there any feature in SG that shows the hierarchy of a Site collection? I currently have a big Site collection I want to migrate but I would like to see a hierarchy overview. Just to have a visualization of the many subsites in it... Not possible yet right?

Add an option to create a visual Sitemap Generation that could be run at a site, library or folder level.

It would be amazing to be able to produce a site map for use prior to migration. This way we could show our users how the current site is organized to begin discussing how to optimize it. :)

Would love to see an exportable Tree View showing objects that have been filtered from a list of object types
