Preserve Workflow and Task History
I want to migrate the workflow task list but I’m unable to do it due to a warning that seems to skip the tasks.

lists that update metadata with history contained in tasks, when migrated loose the history.

I'd actually like an option to just export the workflow history list out to excel. Some people actually want to retain this information in sharepoint online, which has only a 60 day retention.
