Add a Search option for Migration Reports and All tasks
Be able to search:
- migration reports by destination sites for example.
- migration reports by session ID
- actions by type
- in list of previous migrations
- in list of All Tasks

Now that we can rename tasks (very good feature) , filtering tasks by name would be very useful.
Or maybe add tags to have distinct view between different group of tasks ?
E.g. :
I run migrations between different source tenants to our main tenant. I use different names like "[Source1] [Site A]" so I can check which jobs from whcih source ran fine or not.
Getting such filtering would help me a lot to review all jobs for [Source1] or even check recurring jobs for a [Site A], and so on. -

We would like to see more filtering options in the Tasks-view. Allow us to search / filter for task name / part of task name.

Hello,
it would be beneficial if one could filter Tasks based on the Title of the task. In our case we have thousands of completed tasks, each named according to a naming convention and we need to find them on a regular basis to re-run. filtering would help a lot.

We need a better way to search and filter thru tasks.
The destination and source urls need to be filterable or search able in the task list and scheduled list. When migrating multiple site hierarchies, this is a must to find all relavent content migrations to perform analysis and reporting. -

Please add a way to search/filter completed tasks by the source and destination URLs. When doing a major migration project like we are that spans weeks and months, it can be difficult to find a completed task for a specific site when the only filter option is the date.
Thanks!

Would like the ability for a quick filter by Source URL or Destination URL rather than having to export 500 at a time.

Hello
it can be nice to have an ability to search in history of the app.
for example:
1. search in list of previous migrations
2. search in list of tasks(imagine what you have if you're heavy SG user..)

Hi Heather,
Just like you mentioned and saw in a different thread, exporting the task history can't be done at the moment. Can give me more info about the reason behind such a need? Do you need this be stored or backed up somewhere? Etc.
Thanks

Jean-Philippe ,
for me, this exports the actual report(s) from the tasks. I am trying to export the tasks history ( what tasks were done )

Hello Heather,
To export tasks, you can select them with the check boxes on the left and then click on "Export Selection"
I hope this helps!

Olivier Renaud,
how did you "select/export a page at a time" ? While I agree filtering would be the correct feature, I will take exporting all the tasks and filtering in excel. However, this post appears to imply there is no plan for even an export : https://sharegate.uservoice.com/forums/911605-general-settings-licensing-etc/suggestions/20225689-export-task-history-to-excel-as-a-report-of-report -

If we can only select/export a page at a time, we need the ability to control the number of items visible on the page. Otherwise, we’re not only limited in doing meaningful filtering in this interface, but also with other tools like excel.

When you perform a migration via PowerShell, you can output the sessionid. As every migration is a new sessionid, it would be good to be able to search for the sessionid (session in the migration tool) within the migration reports.
