Retain Modify by Value when Migrating content with versioning

Actually Sharegate already retains all author names and timestamps when migrating content. If that’s not the case for you, please contact our super-friendly Support team!

Regarding the Word application – That wasn’t written by us! :-) But if any dates don’t appear correct post-migration again do reach out to our Support

It would be ideal to have both views of the version histories be consistent when viewing in both the Word Application and the Browser. Currently, only the browser shows the true value of the people who last modified / created the version of the document. If this can be replicated over to the thick client, rather than showing the person's name who did the migration, repeatedly, for each version (sometimes up to 20 or more!), that would be great.
