Support Column Formatting JSON Templates
You can use column formatting to customize how fields in SharePoint lists and libraries are displayed. To do this, you construct a JSON object that describes the elements that are displayed when a field is included in a list view, and the styles to be applied to those elements. The column formatting does not change the data in the list item or file; it only changes how it’s displayed to users who browse the list. Anyone who can create and manage views in a list can use column formatting to configure how view fields are displayed.

I would also add that we need Sharegate to support the "visible or not" option of the column view and also the visibility conditional formula, This is part of the form but not part of the Json.

We do alot of form work and promotion from sites to the cloud in different places and thsi funstionality would be great to have built in instead of having to copy and paste everything when moving to a new site

We are using ShareGate in our deployment procedure and I currently have to add a bunch of additional PowerShell to migrate JSON Templates. This formatting is a crittical part of the solution.

plus 1 !
A pity that it is working for both list formatting (column & views) but not the form. -

Can we please get an update on this feature? Migrating many lists and still have to do this manually.

Last week I duplicated an SPO site and ran into this issue. It's quite annoying to copy the JSON formatting, I had to do it on a limited number of Views, however, I can see how this can become a big issue for large M&A (Mergers and acquisitions) integration projects.
This idea was posted more than 2 1/2 years, it's unfortunate that it hasn't been reviewed.

Migrating SharePoint lists (including libraries) is #1 used feature in Sharegate Desktop but now with all this rich functionalities in Lists formatting we need to manually append this. Is this being worked on? Plus Lists (AKA SharePoint lists) just became GA for all tenants and lots of formatting available and more migration need to occur. As admin I should not have to worry about manually adding this formatting. WE NEED THIS!!!!! PLEASEEEEEEEE!

If you now "migrate" sitecolumns or othe modern columns, the json formatting set for displaying column data is not migrated, you knwo have to manually add this after migrting all other data from a sitecolumn. it would be nice to have this ability (perhaps as an option), so you can decide wether you want the formatting copied or not.
