Item Count on list/libraries with Site Collection (or new) Report
It would be extremely useful to have an item count for all list/libraries within a site collection.
We are migrating sites and would like to verify that all content has come over. Currently, we don't see a nice way of showing this.
We do not want to provide the migration results as the validation report as it has too much unneeded information, but are instead looking for something similar to the Site Collection report.
Thanks,
Alex

Agree that this would be extremely helpful. I've just downloaded a 80 GB site with over 150k files. I downloaded it 4 times with different results each time -- thousands of files erroring for reasons that were unclear. I finally had to go folder by folder copying them over to get all the missed files. Just about every folder had some files that failed. It'd be great if I could confirm that what's on the live site is exactly what I'm handing over to this Federal Agency. Alas, I'm not seeing an easy way to do this. Even just a count of how many files are in each folder would be helpful.

This would be great.
We need to do an item / file count of all our SharePoint Online sites, part of the discovery phase for Labeling. -

This report / feature will be extremely useful
Is there a way to vote for features? -

This is something SharePoint should have provided but sadly didn't. ShareGate can you plug the gap? Currently I have to use Windows Explorer and check each folder individually - it's tiresome!

I've done this by doing a full export, parsing out the Source Path, and using a Pivot Table, but it's not very fun, especially when the folders are very deep – which is usually what we’re cleaning up!
It would also be great to be able to say “Show me the counts up to n folders deep.” In my current situation, we have folders at least 16 layers deep (I know, I know!), but I’d like to see the counts at level three. Of course, I could export the report to Excel and whittle it down, but this option would make it a lot easier.

It would be great to have a report that shows a count of items within folders. There are many times when we end up migrating one ginormous Document Library with a bazillion folders into more sensical locations. The report would help us point out the problems and plan for volumes.
