  1. Export Report to PDF, Email, SP library, etc.

    Export Report results to...
    - a SharePoint list or library instead of to Excel so all users can see it and set up alerts on it
    - in a CSV format
    - a PDF file
    - send by email, even automatically send some of the reports to the site owners for example
    - a fileshare, or drive of your choice

    Also able to do so with Custom Reports.

    This has been our number one request in what seems like forever, but with today’s release of ShareGate Desktop, we can finally have a new number one!

    We’ve added the ability to automatically export reports and migration reports to a SharePoint document library upon completion of the task. By leveraging the power of Microsoft Flow (or workflow for on-premise users), you will be able to move that report to wherever you want, be it email or PowerBI.

    The options can be found in the setting screen of the report or in the options tab for migrations.

    Is Allow access requests enabled or disabled for a site/list or folder
    What the email address is setup as

    Hello from Sharegate! We released Sharegate 7.1 last week and we are happy to let you know that you can now create a new report on Site Collections or Sites with “Access request e-mail” and “Allow access request” filters and columns. From there, you can edit the “Access request e-mail” in the properties displayed in the Quick Actions panel (in the report or directly in the explorer). Emptying the field will disable the “Allow access request” implicitly.
    We hope you enjoy these new functionalities!

  4. Ability to Automate the Export of Scheduled Reports

    Some users would find extremely practical to be able to have Sharegate automatically export the scheduled report to a predetermined location on drive. This would help bring them to meetings, and help team manage their SP environments.

    Sharegate 5.20 can now help you to deal documents with no checked-in version. You can run the Checked Out Documents report to find them, or create a new report using the Never Checked-in filter. Plus with the edit option, you can either check them in or delete them.

  8. Add the Document Version information to the document reports

    Please add the document library column "version" that stores the value of the most current document version to the document reporting. Thanks! I love you guys!

    You can build reports on:
    – Version- and approval-related settings in Lists and libraries (enabled or not, major/minor limits, require checkout, approval setting)
    – Version number for items and documents

    Hopefully this now covers all needs!

  9. Edit Existing Scheduled Tasks

    It's great that you have made the option for Scheduling available, it's really useful but what happens if you made an error and you want to change something, you would need to delete the already made schedule and create a new one. The same would happen if you created a new site collection that you need to report on.

    How about, the option to restart the same Task in the history, I want the same report that I ran a month ago, but I do not need it scheduled, this way I could.

    With today’s release of ShareGate Desktop, you can now edit the parameters of your scheduled tasks. This should make you life easier and circumvent the need to delete and recreate a schedule from scratch.

  10. Office 365 groups report

    It would be wonderful to have a report that would report against Office 365 groups. I'm particularly looking for one that would report on all groups that were created as "Public" and who created the group.

    It is now possible to report on O365 Groups, with filters and report columns for properties specific Groups such as Private/Public, owners, members, etc.

    We’re moving forward with more O365 Groups support in management and migration, look for it in upcoming releases.

  11. Bring back the edit button on default reports

    I’m really enjoying v10 and all the streamlining you did. I do miss though the ability to customize an out of the box report and save it as a personal report. It appears there is no longer an edit/pencil icon and I have to create the custom report from scratch so it usually takes me a few trial and errors to get it right.

    For example, I wanted to edit the sites with no activity for 6 months and make it 12 months. Before I thought I could edit the existing report parameters, though I could be mistaken.

    With the release of the latest patch, it is now possible to duplicate and modify default reports so that they match you needs.

  13. Progress Bar In Report

    Probably not a new Idea, but I'd like a progress bar in reports. Even just to see if it's running and how fast.

    Just like spybot S&D used to do: (124234/12331213) scanned.

    If the last number is too difficult to retrieve, just the count of how many items are scanned would be awesome.

  15. guide to reporting

    I would ilke a guide of all the things we can report on for every object type. For document we can report on size, file extension, and other things for example, for every object type.

  17. Teams Private Channel Site Template Report

  18. Total size (All Versions) column units consistency

    Currently when I include the "Total Size (All Versions)" column in a Report he data is represented either in MB or GB. When exporting to Excel it is tricky to sort by this column due to the mixture of units.

    I would prefer the column to report MB. Then if I export to Excel I can quickly sort by that column without having to convert the GB values to MB.

    I would also prefer the column to just contain the number value rather than it include the "MB" or "GB" characters.

  19. options to get notigication when site owner leaves and automate the replacement process

    Some users could use a feature to help notify them when an administrator/owner leaves the entreprise.

    If the notification could come with an option to manage/replace the owners, this would add a layer of flexibility for the IT admins

  20. new report to show all content shared with internal users

    Here is a feature request for your product team to create new report to show all content shared with "Everyone excluding external users" meaning all internal authenticated users and include Teams.
