Automatically expand the groups in the Permission Matrix Report
-Currently, you need to expand the groups as a second operation after the Permission Matrix Report is completed. In some cases, it takes as long as the report itself. I'd like the ability to toggle it by default when running the operation.
-Have the ability to auto-expand the groups in the permission matrix report before the export is done or have a button to Export and Expand the groups in the report.
11 votesHi there,
Good news! With yesterday’s update (12.0.2), the groups will now be expanded in the Permissions matrix report only when the report is automatically exported to a library.
We are not planning on auto-expanding the groups in the UI in the near future.
We hope this will help you in your workflows.
Cheers,

Option to apply "restore inheritance" to sub-folders
The problem I have is that this particular library has multiple folders and each with many more child folders.
It would be good to have the option to apply to sub-folders

Export Permissions Matrix Report as .csv
For large organizations the result of the PMR can exceed the row limit of Excel. Exporting as .csv would prevent that.

Add feature to push permissions from the parent to all of the children.
Push permission from the parent site to all libraries/lists under the site. As well as from the lib to all the sub-folders.
2 votesYou could run a report on your differents objects types that permissions can be broken and run the “Restore Inheritance” action.

Hi from Sharegate!
Sharegate 5.16 is available and you can now exclude certain users before executing the Clean Orphaned Users action. We’ve added the option “Select Orphaned Users”, you can select which user to include/exclude and use the search box to find a specific User.
Thanks a lot for helping us getting better!
Have a nice day!
