Export Report to PDF, Email, SP library, etc.
Export Report results to...
- a SharePoint list or library instead of to Excel so all users can see it and set up alerts on it
- in a CSV format
- a PDF file
- send by email, even automatically send some of the reports to the site owners for example
- a fileshare, or drive of your choice
Also able to do so with Custom Reports.

This has been our number one request in what seems like forever, but with today’s release of ShareGate Desktop, we can finally have a new number one!
We’ve added the ability to automatically export reports and migration reports to a SharePoint document library upon completion of the task. By leveraging the power of Microsoft Flow (or workflow for on-premise users), you will be able to move that report to wherever you want, be it email or PowerBI.
The options can be found in the setting screen of the report or in the options tab for migrations.
We know we don’t cover the PDF part of the request, but we encourage to go vote for it here: https://feedback.sharegate.com/forums/912880/suggestions/38625361

Hi All,
As I am using your reporting more and more, I would really like the ability to schedule a report where the results are loaded direclty into an SPO list. If we can't get it to a list, can we have the results exported automatically to a Ondrive folder? -

I run this report for managers to verify permissons for employees but it only allows me to export it in excel format which is hard for a manager to read. What would be helpful is to get out a PDF that looks exactly like what comes out on the Sharegate screen.

Hi there, this is nothing dire - just a request. I love the audit report that you offer. Since this information is typically requested by a site owner (usually of a sub-site where they don't have access to this feature), it would be great if email functionality could be added so that scheduled reports can be automatically emailed to the requester., eliminating SharePoint Farm Admins from having to act as middle man.

I need to automate the process of Inventory of a specific site and, at the end of process, export automatically the report in a fixed location.

Would be nice to have an export on the listings within insights so that it can be forwarded to the end uses. Such export would be ideal with [Name], [URL], [Last Used Date] (column names for easy reference).

I'd like to see a way to automate running and exporting a report, such as the permissions matrix report. For migration of OneDrive from tenant to tenant, I need to run this for many users so it can be sent to them to point out where they have external shares and can then recreate those external shares if they're still relevant. Furthermore, it would be good to get that permission matrix so I can revoke permissions prior to migration to avoid users changing data on the source site.

Provide an ability to export or save off custom reports, either to provide them for another licensed user or be able to restore them.
Several times my profile has been corrupted and I lost all my custom reports.

It would be great if there was an option to have reports saved to designated locations, such as to a folder, or sharepoint document library. Automating this process would be a life saver.

This would be great, we had to write our own .net report to read the SharePoint Audit logs and produce the report automatically, it would definitely be nice if this was included in Sharegate since it is there to run the report, just need it to be able to schedule it run and send the report to a central location.

It would be great if we could have scheduled reports be sent to an email or saved to a document library.

Hello,
I love the feature to be able to schedule to run reports. I think it would be awesome if we had the capability to also set the store location for those automatic reports.

Our use case is to take the site owners report and make it available and up-to-date via SharePoint for business users to identify who to contact for getting access to particular sites.

Same as the previous comment. It would be nice to export report in CSV, XLSX or PDF by email scheduled for each day or each week or each month, etc.

Just some thoughts after quite a few migrations with SG: One of the most important things of the migration process is to measure (and share) the rate of success. SharePoint is quite good to share.. Maybe using a 'migration site template'? Where the Sharegate tool can automatically report on progress.

I agree with the sentiment that scheduled reports are very nice, but are vastly more useful when they are also automatically sent out as CSV, or PDF, or XLS. to either email or SharePoint.

What the ****! this has been a request for over a year and with the most votes and there isnt so much as an acknowledgment from sharegate on this.

Would be great to automatically export the scheduled report to a sharepoint library. Also, is it possible to filter the "All Tasks" so that I can see only the reports and not all of my other completed tasks? Thank-you.

Using the audit feature is nice in SharePoint and required for our government agency on some of our solutions, management wants a daily report on certain user access for some sensitive solutions, would be nice to make the exporting function a feature of Share-gate, or something that would allow it to be written to a special library for there viewing and filtering, rather than the manual daily process I have to do!...
