We have started working on being able to automatically export to a SharePoint Library once an operation is done. We feel that this will allow you to, in conjunction with Workflows or MS Flows, to automate a lot of work.

The time has come. We are seriously considering adding the ability to automatically export task results in a SharePoint library. 🙌

This has been part of the biggest feature request on our Feedback Forum for a long time now. We are considering the export to SharePoint Library approach because we see the all the potential it would give our users to trigger workflows or Flows when a report is exported, or even better, leverage the data exported to build dashboards and other things with PowerBi, etc.

That being said, we still have a few questions that need to be answered before going further. Unfortunately, due to re-priorization, we are moving this item back to “thinking about it”. The exposed solution was defined a while ago, but never started. We are currently evaluating if it is the right one. We are going back to the drawing board so we can offer you a better solution.

After discussing with some of the people who voted for this idea, it seems like there are different needs behind it.
We’ve decided to start by addressing the problem that we heard most about, which is being able to give site owners the ability to review the permissions of their sites.
We’re currently planning a solution that will address this issue for our customers who are on Office 365.
We do hear you about exporting your reports automatically and we will notify you as soon as we dive into it.

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to leave us feedback and help improve Sharegate. We definitely appreciate it and often look at them.
In fact, we’ve been looking this one for a while trying to figure out how to best deliver it.

We are currently evaluating it to better understand the need behind the need to export reports and which reports are the ones you are looking export.
Already have had a few calls, it’s not yet on a confirmed backlog, but we do want to bring a solution to this need soon.
