Allow download and/or export options of group content before archiving
Giving owners a way to back up certain files and documents would drive more owners to archive their unused groups.
- Maybe by adding an "Archive options" button in the email sent to owners in which ShareGate Apricot could give them this option (similar UI as in the Archive page would be great). Then, they could download their file/doc followed by a Go archive! for the rest.
Also, give them the option to move content before archiving. Using an AI logic to suggest documents users may want to move from a group before archiving it would be incredible.9 votes

Add European datacenter to free storage options
The free option is nice, but brings with it a lot of pain due to the data locality.
We could more easily get this through if there is an option to choose Europe as a base of operations6 votes
Add the ability to bulk delete or bulk restore on the Archive Page and support Filtering
On the Archive page, I would like to be able to bulk delete archived teams. Currently I have to open each team indivudally in order to perform an action.
I would like to be able to select say all the teams archived over 3 years ago and bulk delete them. Currently there is no filtering although sorting is possible.
Customizable Settings for Archive/Support for Non-Apricot Archive
For organizations that may be unable to use the built-in Apricot archive yet, it would be nice to have some more granular settings to control when/how the archive option is provided on end user communications and allow us to integrate our own archive processes, so we can still use Apricot as much as possible. For example, ability to toggle presentation of the archive option to end users on/off (preferably independent of whether storage is setup or not) , option to configure Apricot to either Archive using Apricot native mechanism or an external mechanism, ability to provide a URL where the Archive button on inactive emails should redirect end users if external archive is configured. This would allow us to send them to a page to give them additional guidance on archiving, collect additional info and/or give them way to request archive (ticketing system). For example, we may need to know how long the data needs to be retained. If Apricot could still keep track of the fact that the end user has decided the site should be archived, even if we are not using Apricot native archive, that would be helpful so we could see a list of sites that need to be archived outside of Apricot.

Let owners retrieve archived content
Allow teams/groups owners to be able to access and retrieve the data of their archived teams/groups by themselves so that they don't have to go through IT to do it.5 votes
Ability to export a list of archived groups
Hi, this would be a helpful feature for us.
Archive filter and deletion
To cleanup archived teams it would be great to have a filter option based on archived date and size. Also the ability to select and delete multiple archived teams would be helpful.2 votes
For an appropriate lifecycle it would also be helpful if a retention could be defined for the archive so that content is also deleted after a predefined time.2 votes
Allow Cancel of ongoing Archive
Allow the possibility to see running Archives and to cancel them2 votes

Assign the Inactive/Archive policy to specific MS 365 groups
Add an option to assign a ShareGate Archive Policy to a MS 365 group. The policy could be assigned to a group directly or by using a label. The idea is to have a MS365 group archived automatically after a specific number of days.
I think that an archive policy must be assigned on an M365 group level. My first idea was to use a label. But labels must be independently assigned from an archive policy.2 votes
Send notification to admin before archive final deletion
Send a final notice or notification to admins when the Archive is 'X' days away from deletion. With this, include an option to extend the archive by 30,60,90 days if you are not ready for full deletion.

Ability to recognise and report Team sites that have been archived using Microsoft's Archive function
We currently use Microsoft's "archive" function which simply sets a team site to "Read-only". This may be an interim step before fully archiving the site content to another storage location. While reviewing inactive sites, flagging such sites as already "archived" would reduce the target list for review by team owners.1 vote
Archive site content (not the entire site)
I would like to have the ability to archive some old site content to Azure storage, but keep the source site in place. Having the ability for that to age out the Azure storage after a certain amount of time would be great.
I know that this would essentially make ShareGate a backup solution to some degree, but the Azure archive functionality is already there.1 vote
