  1. Allow to rename and personalize the bot

    We get a report phishing or incident tickets raised most times when users are contacted by the ShareGate Apricot. There's no way the business will understand what a ShareGate Apricot is, hence this is defeating the aim of getting all users to respond and act on the actions required for them to comply to governance.

    So it would be great if we can rename the Bot and personalise the message sent to the users so they can be assured the messages they are getting is genuine and coming from the IT Team.

  2. Ability to communicate with group owners on demand

    Ability to trigger some workflows to communicate with group owners – for example, contact them by email to ask questions about their groups (other than to entrust them).

    • Use case 1: Unused group, owner gets the email and decides to keep it – but it is really old and unused, so before admin taking action on it and overriding the owner’s decision, he would want to contact him and find out why.

    • Use case 2: Unused group that has about nothing in it and/or no members. IT admin would like to contact owners to ask them if it's ok to…

  3. Ability to export a list of all orphaned groups

    We need to be able to send the list out to the people we are going to be adding so that they know what groups they are being added to.

    It would be nice to be able to export the Apricot results so we can send that list to the our different teams so they know they can start working on their list that they will be added to.

  5. Ability to disable the Archive feature

    Give us the ability to turn off the Archiving feature. Some orgs may want to manage their archives outside of ShareGate, whether it's just a manual process of renaming and hiding the O365 group or by some other method. Also, users don't always know what they want, so by default they might just choose Archive because too afraid to delete.

    The Archive feature is not mandatory anymore to use the Inactive policy governance in ShareGate Apricot.

    You can now entrust groups without setting up the Azure storage. Owners will receive an email with only Keep or Delete action if unused.

  6. Identify and follow up with owners that haven't yet responded

    Include a follow-up alert if owner is not responding to SGA emails in the app so we can easily see it and act upon that.

    • For example, we might just take action on these groups ourselves.
    • Making it visible in the Assistant is ok, but also in Groups page.

    We’ve introduced with our release the possibility to see unanswered unused groups in the Assistant.

    If owners don’t answer after receiving the first email and a reminder, we’ll add them in the Assistant so you can manually take action on them.

  7. Divide the activity feed by action type

    Divide the activity feed in sections. For example, groups created, groups entrusted, groups deleted, groups archived.

    • Similar to the Microsoft Admin Center

  9. The ability to try Policies and Categorization for a few users to test before rolling out to everyone.

    I would love to have an option to apply policies and categorization to a few users as opposed to turning it on for the entire organization. This would really help a few ways....(1) help to understand the experience the users will get so we can document it uniquely to our organization (2) allow for admins to better align with organizational information protection/governance outside Sharegate.

    Hi there!

    This feature is already available in ShareGate Apricot:

    1) Ask owner(s) feature (in bulk) is available if you want to assign purpose and sensitivity tag on existing Teams. Please click on the filter tile “Without purpose, or without sensitivity”

    2) Automate Categorization Policy will only ask owner(s) to categorize only newly created Teams.

    If you combine those 2 features, you will cover all existing and future Teams on your tenant.

  11. Quickly add owners to groups from the Assistant

    When I click on the person icon to add owner from the Assistant page, the full details pane opens.

    I would like to have the option to quickly assign owners without opening the full menu. That would make the process even faster.
