Allow the ability to use Group Purpose and Group Sensitivity tagging independent of one another
We would really like to use Group Purpose tagging to help out Admins filter on the Teams that they own. Out tenant has multiple subsidiaries with differing IT groups managing their own employees. The Group Purpose allows us to tag the groups for IT support, but we don't want to use the Group Sensitivity tagging as of right now.

Since July 14th 2022, the Purpose and Sensitivity tags can now be managed independently.
- You can manually ask owner(s) for Purpose or Sensitivity only for selected Groups/Teams
- You can automate each policy separately and automatically ask the owner(s) of newly created Groups/Teams to add a Purpose or Sensitivity when missing

Is there an update since April was sometime ago? I would expect that quarter has ended. Thanks!

Any updates on this item? We are also waiting for this. We are also using sensitivity labels in M365 which are set at the time of group creation. We cannot use Apricot sensitivity tags because do not play nice with the existing labels in M365 (only live in Apricot and do not reflect the actual M365 sensitivity label).

We might wait for this before using Apricot, since users are already required to select Microsoft group sensitivity label when creating, we don't want to ask them twice.
