This one was tough for me to update the status. It’s important for us to deliver the best experience possible to our customers and the feedback we receive is a big part of that.
The request to scan inside of content for links and adjusting them or finding broken links is something we’ve looked at quite a few times given the number of requests for it.
Though we may evaluate some of these suggestions separately in the future, we do not plan on working on this in the near term.
An update will be posted if something changes, one closer to being evaluated would be broken links on SharePoint Pages.
We’re always grateful for any additional insight that would help us build a better tool. Thanks for leaving us feedback.
Have the ability to run a report to find all the broken links in a site.
Currently, it's not possible to get this information. I'd be interested to know if a Content Type has a workflow associated to it.

I'd like to be able to change the default view in bulk in my lists using the management tool in Sharegate. Currently, there isn't a way to do it as a transformation or a quick action
We don’t plan on adding progress indicator as we feel it would only become misleading because estimation are really hard to make due to technical limitations.
Currently, the duration of the migration is not directly tracked. I'd like to have a timer added for both the migration and the pre-check process.
Since the destination is always the same version of SharPoint, I'd like to be able to duplicate the Master Page Gallery content as well as the look and feel. Currently, there is a lot of manual work involved after a duplication.

Currently, there isn't any way to know if a permission wasn't copied because an AD group is missing at the destination. It would be interesting to see this information in the Migration Report.
It's not always necessary to see the members of Active Directory groups in the Permission Matrix Report and I would like the option to filter those out when expanding all groups.

We have no plan of supporting the recycle bin in ShareGate Desktop.
Currently, you can only delete the items from the migration screen. I'd like to be able to delete the items and have them being deleted from the recycle bin at the same time.
Currently, the reporting is divided in two different options "Site Collection" and "Site". "Site" doesn't give the site collection level and you can't see the Site Collection Administratior. "Site Collection" doesn't give the sub site and you can't see the owner of those sub sites. I'd like to have a report containing both the information from "Site Collection" and "Site".
When using the "Filter by time range" option in a Property Template, the folders will always go though whether they are part of the time range or not. I'd like the folders to also be affected by this setting.Mathieu Delisle shared this idea ·

In some cases, particularly on servers, the c:\ drive doesn't have much space. I'd like to be able to move the Sharegate folder under AppData somewhere else.
Google sites as a source is not on our roadmap. Our current focus is Office 365 management and security.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
I'd like to be able to migrate all the content of my Google Sites (not only Google Drive) to a SharePoint environment.
When doing a migration, I had folders that were skipped because they had the "system" attribute. Currently, Sharegate isn't able to see those folders.
During a migration it would be great if Sharegate could toggle required fields (change them to Optional) if an item has no value in a migrating list field. This happens frequently in older sites. It is easy to discover and fix the errors generated but it would be great if Sharegate didn't 'validate' fields.

I'd like to be able to select users that I don't want to appear in the Audit Report. In my case, I would particularly like the option to remove the System Account from the report.
As much as we hear your need, this is not currently on our road map. We will revisit it eventually.
Possibility to do an Incremental migration of whole sites or site collections, but only include the content, not the structure.
I would like to be able to create folders within Sharegate before starting a migration (right click, create folder) and then, apply permissions on it to match the source material.

We collected information and are evaluating this further
I would like Sharegate to migrate/preserve the external sharing permissions when going from One Drive to another One Drive
