Being able to rename folders across multiple sites or OneDrives based on a search report results.
We feel like our migration experience is quite good right now and we don’t plan on doing custom rules and filters for now.
Some of those can already be done using PowerShell, SharePoint views and other means.
We will eventually reevaluate this once we advance further in our roadmap.
Add the time range and extension filter to structure migrations as well (only available for content migrations for now)
Google sites as a source is not on our roadmap. Our current focus is Office 365 management and security.
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
Ability to migrate Google Sites
View site collections from teams app in management tool
Be able to import to several locations using only one Excel metadata sheet

Since the default is now disabled. It should prevent most situation some of you are describing.
We still feel like the Auto-Assign as site collection administrator is a useful option in certain case.
If you encounter an issue you can always refer to this documentation to fix it. https://support-desktop.sharegate.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000647528-Can-I-remove-myself-as-an-administrator-after-I-have-auto-assigned-myself-as-one-
One Drive is perceived to be completely private and can cause question when someone is assigned as admin.

Since we want to be transparent regarding our roadmap, I just wanted to do a quick update to say that even though we are not declining this idea, we are not planning on adding metadata reporting in the near future. We’ll keep you informed if and when we start working on it.
Being able to choose columns to display based on the environment, not just the pre-set columns
We have no plan of improving the Source Analysis (previously known as the Inventory) for now.
We might eventually come back to it (or the pre-check) and will let your know if we do.
- Site owners
- Number of items
- Last modified date
Merged for different tickets:
- Site owner
- File count
- File size
- Creation date
- Last modified user
In Inventory, when you see an error or warning about a List Template or Site Template that caused the migration to fail, how to identify what the offending template is?
As much as we hear your need, this is not currently on our road map. We will revisit it eventually.
Move documents if they are moved by users on the source site to another Document Library / Site since the last incremental update has run
Incremental copy of terms based on a timestamp
Adding a third property to determine if an item should be replaced in a incremental copy to avoid duplicates if more than one item have the same title.
During a incremental migration, it would be great if files, users, views, alerts that were deleted at the source since the first migration would be deleted at the destination too.
Being able to copy site collections in an empty environment with a powershell script (right now we can only merge with existing site collections)

Adding property like ID or Item URL on Permissions Matrix Report.
Set Site Collection as read only or NOACCESS
Handle the settings in the Explorer
We understand that the situation is not ideal, but we have no plan on doing this for now.
We might get to this eventually.
- Perform a bulk check on a group of users' permissions.
- use an excel or CSV list of users, to feed them to the "Specific Users and Groups" Option in the Permissions Matrix Report.

We have no plan of supporting the recycle bin in ShareGate Desktop.
Can the reports include the recycle bin please?

I was going through the comments in this thread and clearly understood your desire of visibility over user alerts (who created them, type of alerts, etc.) but I am curious to hear how the info would be used, how you would consume the info and most importantly, do you also feel the need to take any kind of actions over the alerts?
I hope I’ll hear from you soon!
Report for lists with user alerts
We’ve release a version of Workflow reporting a few months ago and are trying to figure out where we are going with this.
Please tell us what you would like us to add to this feature.
Report on workflows published by a specific user
We don’t plan on adding progress indicator as we feel it would only become misleading because estimation are really hard to make due to technical limitations.
Is there a possibility to find out how long the inventory, pre-check or migration took to run?

Recently, we launched ShareGate Apricot, a tool that offers to delegate the decision of archiving stale groups to users.
That being said, an office 365 backup feature is not something we are planning to add to ShareGate Desktop. We’ll still keep the suggestion opened to new votes and comments and keep our eyes on it. But for now, it is not part of our priorities.
We’ll update the suggestion if our plans change.
I’m looking to store documents as a backup past the 90 day recycle bin that Microsoft provides. I would either store these in a network folder or in Azure. I should be able to restore individual files and run scheduled backups.
This is purely for the cloud.
It’s been a while since this suggestion has been updated so I just want to let you know that after re-evaluation, we still not planning on adding such a feature in the near future.
We will continue to read your comments so don’t hesitate to send in more.
Thanks again for sharing your feedback.
