This is not in our short or medium plan. We understand the need but don’t feel like it’s our priority right now as we focus on the adoption of the modern workplace.
Can you scan my environment to find all duplicate files and documents, then ask the user which one is the right one in order to clean the unused versions in the end.

Definitely something to look into! Thanks for taking the time to share.
The PMR or “Permissions Matrix Report” is one of our popular reports, it makes sense to want to leverage it for more than just a report.
We’ll be evaluating what the best way to present this information shortly with our teams. As soon as I know more, will keep you posted with an update.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback again.

I am glad to say that we are currently exploring the possibility to add an option to automatically make Read-only and/or Delete the source of migration if it goes errorless.
We’ll keep you updated with any news on this.
Move option for list and library, so put on new location and remover from old location

- Copy permissions to new user and remove old user” in one action .
- with a results preview option
It would be great if you could use some form of data mapping in site-level migrations to correct data quality issues that might crop up – eg. where required cells contain no data - > map a value, or where lookups are broken -> copy a blank cell.

I’m curious to hear more from you about this one.
-What kind of information would you like to see in such a site map?
-What format you’d like it to be?
-What would you do with it? Who would you show it to?
Thanks for your help!
Anonymous: would be really good if your product created a site map of all site collections and sub sites across the farm in a visual diagram that could be saved as an image or pdf
We have no plan of improving the Source Analysis (previously known as the Inventory) for now.
We might eventually come back to it (or the pre-check) and will let your know if we do.
We’ve just release Sharegate 5.15 where you will find Inventory details for SharePoint and O365 like:
- List of Site collections and Sites
- List of Unused site
- List custom applications on the site
- List of SharePoint 2010/2013/Nintex Workflows (reusable, list or site Workflows)
- Warnings and errors for migration planification
If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help. And have a fantastic Monday!
This is not currently in our plan to allow our users to compare two environments.
We might do it in the future, possibly starting with permission as it seems like it would be the most useful part on security level.
Being able to compare two list pre and post migration in the migration tool. Client suggested a feature similar to freefilesync.org
