We are currently reconsidering this suggestion and are wondering if it is still a need for you, especially if you are an Office 365 user.
Let us know and we will reevaluate this eventually.

We don’t plan on adding progress indicator as we feel it would only become misleading because estimation are really hard to make due to technical limitations.

This is not currently in our plan to allow our users to compare two environments.
We might do it in the future, possibly starting with permission as it seems like it would be the most useful part on security level.

I completely agree with @Douglas Punchak. Delta migrations would be very useful. :D

Hi everyone,
I’m curious to hear more from you about this one.
-What kind of information would you like to see in such a site map?
-What format you’d like it to be?
-What would you do with it? Who would you show it to?Thanks for your help!

@Anonymous regarding the QiPoint Broken Link Manager tool, OH YEAH!!!! I sooooo second that statement!! Sharegate has an amazing team and I've seen more enhancements and development to their software during a shorter time than I've ever seen from another company. If anyone can do this, Sharegate definitely can. :)

Thanks for taking the time to post this idea. We looked at it with the team and for now have decided that it’s not something we will be working on short term.
We’ll keep looking at the requests and update if we anything changes

Pausing a migration would work perfectly in conjunction with my suggested server-side migration agent / orchestrator above (assuming it's approved). ;)

First of all, you guys freaking ROCK!!!! I love the product and how incredibly talented your development team is to pump out updates and enhancements as fast as you do. That said...
It would be FANTASTIC if you had a lightweight server-side migration agent that could orchestrate migration jobs rather than running the full Sharegate client on the server and eating up system resources.
This agent could conceivably be combined with the Insane Mode client and could communicate asynchronously with the Sharegate client on user's system such that we can shutdown our system, disconnect from the internet, and reconnect to the server later from our client to check on the progress of the job and attend to any errors that may have arisen while away.
I don't often ask for this, but I would love to hear back on this particular request. :)

As much as we really like this idea, it doesn’t fit in the current narrative of ShareGate Desktop.
We will for sure reevaluate this one in a near future.

This is my primary ask over anything else. I've been waiting for this for almost two years now. :(
