We feel like our migration experience is quite good right now and we don’t plan on doing custom rules and filters for now.

Some of those can already be done using PowerShell, SharePoint views and other means.

We will eventually reevaluate this once we advance further in our roadmap.

Ive been working with the teampltes in Sharegate, and was hoping that Id be able to exclude files that have no size, but unfortunately filesize doesn't appear to be one of the filters that can be applied.

It would be very useful to have the ability to limit by filesize in the same way date is used, with an optional upper and lower limit. This way you could easily and flexibly limit files of certain sizes from a migration.

    Just an idea :)

I'd like to be able to apply multiple filters. This would super handy for cleaning up content as it comes across from a file share.

For example, I want to exclude the any files matching the following exact filenames:

    Thumbs.db
    .DS_Store

...as well as any temporary files that match the following wildcards (where the asterisk "*" is the wildcard):

    ~$*.*
    *.tmp

Being able to apply all of these filename filters would be amazing. Thanks! :)

Definitely something to look into! Thanks for taking the time to share.

The PMR or “Permissions Matrix Report” is one of our popular reports, it makes sense to want to leverage it for more than just a report.

We’ll be evaluating what the best way to present this information shortly with our teams. As soon as I know more, will keep you posted with an update.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback again.

    Feature request:

I'm using the (very handy) Permissions Matrix Report while I amend the permissions assigned to entire sub sites in SharePoint.

As I make changes to the site's permissions, it would be useful to simply refresh the report to see how the matrix has changed as I iterate.

Could you please consider adding a Refresh Report button to the report screen, maybe at the top, to the left of Expand All Groups? It may also be worth putting an Are You Sure? prompt behind it, so people don't accidentally lose a report they may want.

When a list of errors is presented, it would be really handy to have a "Retry" button for each error. I have tried to run a report which has produced errors on a lot of site collections. If I try to fix the error by adding my account as a site collection administrator, I want to test it's worked before doing all the others. It would be handy to retry just the one site collection.
