If you now "migrate" sitecolumns or othe modern columns, the json formatting set for displaying column data is not migrated, you knwo have to manually add this after migrting all other data from a sitecolumn. it would be nice to have this ability (perhaps as an option), so you can decide wether you want the formatting copied or not.

    Declined  ·  Antoine Bousquet responded

We don’t plan on adding new source of data in a foreseeable future, so I’ll decline this.

We prefer to offer a solid experience in the world of Microsoft than to add too many sources.

Dropbox would be a great addition, even if it is means it is a "2 step process", especially dropbox for business users. The problem with your solution to move first to a file erver is that all users must need to set up a sync with dropbox. You can only setup one sync.
So we need an method to retrieve all users and automatically create all user folders on a file server

It would be great if sharegate can "migrate" default values on libraries and folders. I have analyzed this a bit more and it is quite "simple" once you understand where it is stored. The only problem is that the "value" in the file is hardcoded, so either you manually have to edit this or your programming gurus can read and change the value through the sharegate engine.

If it is possible to "copy" items from the "form folder" at least the data is not lost, i just then need to change the "location" of the url.. great move microsoft to add this hardcoded,,,
