We are working on migrating hundreds of sites, and having to continually log into the tenant (and the remember the log in / don't ask for 30 days doesn't work) slows our progress considerably. Also migrations I processed as late as yesterday lose connection - and usually I can't just reconnect so I have to start over. It would be nice to have it remember the login.

Also - it would be fantastic if SPWeb.NoCrawl (boolean) could be added to the Explorer options to update directly in ShareGate. (wink wink)

We’ve release a version of Workflow reporting a few months ago and are trying to figure out where we are going with this.
Please tell us what you would like us to add to this feature.

Hello ShareGate, I realize that there is some workflow reporting, but it doesn't supply some critical information. A report that shows running workflows could be processed before a migration so that steps may be taken to stop it or have the assignee complete their task. It would be good if Sharegate would list ALL workflows and not skip Nintex unless you have the license. It would still be nice to know what has to be manually done for Nintex workflows.

Since audit reporting was decremented in 2013 and forward, there is not a tool that can quickly show the top visitors, visitors in *** days, number of hits, etc. We are asked by our customers where they can see site traffic.

Hello,
We have found that our customers (especially in finance and compliance) want automatic download of certain data, especially for workflow task lists that auto-delete after 45 days. Like many other functions that are able to be scheduled, is it possible to add Download to that? Otherwise, we have to run the downloads manually on our customers' schedule.
Thanks!

As much as we really like this idea, it doesn’t fit in the current narrative of ShareGate Desktop.
We will for sure reevaluate this one in a near future.

This is not currently in our plan to allow our users to compare two environments.
We might do it in the future, possibly starting with permission as it seems like it would be the most useful part on security level.

Hi everyone,
Since ShareGate Desktop now allow us to automatically export migration reports (and other reports) when a task is done to a SharePoint library, you may easily setup a Microsoft Flow or workflow to notify you when a task is over. If you need some inspiration, I wrote a blog post on how users can leverage Microsoft Flow to share reports by email: https://sharegate.com/blog/use-microsoft-flow-automatically-send-sharegate-desktop-reports
It’s not a native way to get notified, but a nice workaround you could use until we add official email notifications (if we do at some point).
Cheers,

Our team has two suggestions for this report:
1. Include the user's email
2. Have an option that brings in the associates in AD security groups (and their emails). We have a powershell that brings ALL the users in the farm. We don't like that because if a site includes 'Everyone' or "All Authenticated Users' then literally every employee is returned. We love the Sharegate report, but it doesn't help when we have to send emails to all users (or the users of a specific web app for things like maintenance downtime or migration downtime.
Thanks!

M365 Authentication has always been an issue for us because a person must stop their work to reconnect or it's likely that reports and processes won't run because the environment is no longer connected. I don't understand how Microsoft allows 30 days, but ShareGate's session drops the connection after 3 days (if not sooner sometimes).
