Add report target list and filter options (-errors -warnings etc.) as options in CopySettings. Migration reports could then be added to the list automatically for Import-Document etc.
I know this can be done with Export-Report and Import-Document (report file), but why not stay in sync with currently available Desktop functionality?

Agree. It's useful to know this when a change in copy options (metadata) is needed. A library may even have many content types with the same property. As it is now, one has to find the offending content type elsewhere, or make changes to copy options for all of them, which is time consuming.

The lack of this possibility is what prevented us from using Sharegate as the only tool for migration. With custom content types containing custom columns of custom field types it was impossible to copy site objects including content. A possibility to specify a global property template with content type mapping and metadata settings would have solved this. Objects related to the source content types could then be skipped as they are not needed at the destination. The workaround is to clean up document libraries after the copy of sites, and then copy the content once more with mapping. A time consuming process when there are many document libraries.

When running scripts to import documents periodically, it would be useful to have an option to move documents rather than copy them.
This would prevent reprocessing of already imported documents, and allow the use of the Rename action instead of IncrementalUpdate. IncrementalUpdate creates problems if a document added to source folders have the same name as a previously imported document.

If Sharegate is meant to have read access only to file shares, another option would be to include a list of successfully imported files in the Result object, so that they can be deleted by the script.
