This is not currently in our plan to allow our users to compare two environments.
We might do it in the future, possibly starting with permission as it seems like it would be the most useful part on security level.

As much as we hear your need, this is not currently on our road map. We will revisit it eventually.

We could use this as well, both when migrating from files and folders to a site and also migrating content from one site to another. It would be very useful to have an incremental option and a way to see and act on changes. Features similar to what can be done with the tool WinMerge would be very handy.
Additionally, allow Move, not just Copy.
Thanks for a great product!!!

As much as we really like this idea, it doesn’t fit in the current narrative of ShareGate Desktop.
We will for sure reevaluate this one in a near future.

Agree with this need/functionality; to be able to act on reported migration errors.
Another example is when moving content. My steps have been to select a set of items or documents from source (like a date range) and copy to destination, when copy is complete, delete the selected items from source. When there are errors, the only recourse has been to export the errors to Excel, then find each of the error items in the source selection and de-select each error. After those error items are located and de-selected, I can delete the remaining selection of source items. Then finally deal with the error items... Quite complex and time consuming.

To expand on this: compare things like site settings and features between site collections, and lists and libraries. Example: would have been useful when we rolled out content organizer settings, rules and types. There are many settings areas to change which makes it very easy to miss something.
