Currently am planning a migration from SP2013 to SP2019. We want to create a new default modern landing page at the root site, but in order to do this, we need to promote some subsites from the existing root site. These are department sites so we created a managed path called /dept/ and when we promote the subsites to site collections, we would like to place them under the /dept/ managed path instead of the default /sites/

In SharePoint, we can create custom managed paths for site collections. In ShareGate Desktop, the default managed path for promoting sites is /sites/. This feature request is to be able to select a custom managed path when promoting. For example, a managed path called /departments/ or /dept/ would be used for all department site collections.
