    Hi everyone,

Lately we decided to shift most of our energy towards migrating, managing and adopting Office 365. When we create new features, we make sure they also work with SharePoint on-premise (if possible), but we are not planning on developing more options of features specifically for on-premise at the moment.

I’ll keep the suggestion open and our ears are still open to new comments.

    Thank you,

I would like to see the ability to simply find users A across an entire environment, then say replace user A with user B. This is extremely helpful when someone is replaced and the new user needs the same access. often people get added to so many sites they forget the exact locations so having this would save a lot of time. Obviously if a decent Permissions model was adopted through ACL's for example that could all be handled as part of the new user process.

Recently, we launched ShareGate Apricot, a tool that offers to delegate the decision of archiving stale groups to users.

That being said, an office 365 backup feature is not something we are planning to add to ShareGate Desktop. We’ll still keep the suggestion opened to new votes and comments and keep our eyes on it. But for now, it is not part of our priorities.

We’ll update the suggestion if our plans change.

    Thank you,

With the different options already offered by Microsoft (Popularity and Usage reporting, Site health, etc.), we are wondering if the need of usage reporting in ShareGate is still relevant?

-Are there any scenarios where the options offered by Microsoft don’t help?
-How would the info gathered through this type of reporting would help?

Let us know how you think this would help so we can build the solution to fit your needs.
