Lately we decided to shift most of our energy towards migrating, managing and adopting Office 365. When we create new features, we make sure they also work with SharePoint on-premise (if possible), but we are not planning on developing more options of features specifically for on-premise at the moment.
I’ll keep the suggestion open and our ears are still open to new comments.
We don’t plan on adding progress indicator as we feel it would only become misleading because estimation are really hard to make due to technical limitations.

I have senior management asking to not have their files with names of users who have left the company, so the created by and Modified by Columns of a List or library.
Can we either do a migration (lift and replace to the same library) using the user mapping tools or have the ability to replace User A with User B for all Created/Modified By fields, whilst not affecting the dates.
As much as we really like this idea, it doesn’t fit in the current narrative of ShareGate Desktop.
We will for sure reevaluate this one in a near future.
As much as we hear your need, this is not currently on our road map. We will revisit it eventually.
This is not in our short or medium plan. We understand the need but don’t feel like it’s our priority right now as we focus on the adoption of the modern workplace.Neil Howell commented
Have just started a file share migration to a Sharepoint Library, I am utilising Column Metadata instead of folder names that are by "Year & Month". I am seeing lots of duplicate file names that are simply overriding the previous filename that is not the same file. Maybe an option to rename a file if detecting a duplicate name, like a tick box in the options field.
