With the different options already offered by Microsoft (Popularity and Usage reporting, Site health, etc.), we are wondering if the need of usage reporting in ShareGate is still relevant?
-Are there any scenarios where the options offered by Microsoft don’t help?
-How would the info gathered through this type of reporting would help?
Let us know how you think this would help so we can build the solution to fit your needs.Christian Hofmann commented
- show number of times a document had been opened.
And ideally have te ability auto export scheduled tasks to a SharePoint document library.Christian Hofmann commented
Can you guys add a report to quickly see how many clicks a page, list or document got. That would be awesome.

Since the auditing capabilities in Office 365 were moved to the unified auditing log, we can no longer use the audit report as we used to in ShareGate Desktop. At the time, we do not support the auditing through the unified log and are not planning to support it. We will re-evaluate the situation in the future.
Thank you for your understanding.
