It is worth noting that nothing stops you from doing this in ShareGate, but as Mike pointed it, doing so will totally and apparently permanently, hose your list. This is a lot more than "you can't do this in ShareGate", this is more of a "do this and you will permanently ruin your content. Learned the hard way...
Attempting to migrate a list form customized using PowerApps not only does not work, it irrevocably damages the new list so that a form can never be associated with it (without even as much as a warning that this will happen)! Since almost any list will have a form customized (even if customizations are minor), this makes ShareGate frustratingly inadequate to do the one thing we need it to do. I wish I would have known this before recommending the purchase of the product.
