    Recently, we launched ShareGate Apricot, a tool that offers to delegate the decision of archiving stale groups to users.

    That being said, an office 365 backup feature is not something we are planning to add to ShareGate Desktop. We’ll still keep the suggestion opened to new votes and comments and keep our eyes on it. But for now, it is not part of our priorities.

    We’ll update the suggestion if our plans change.

    With the different options already offered by Microsoft (Popularity and Usage reporting, Site health, etc.), we are wondering if the need of usage reporting in ShareGate is still relevant?

    -Are there any scenarios where the options offered by Microsoft don’t help?
    -How would the info gathered through this type of reporting would help?

    Let us know how you think this would help so we can build the solution to fit your needs.

    Since the default is now disabled. It should prevent most situation some of you are describing.

    We still feel like the Auto-Assign as site collection administrator is a useful option in certain case.

    Hi there!

    We’re currently adapting the columns with the different governance policies to give you meaningfull information about your groups.

    Adding the number of members column is a great idea and we’re going to inlcude it.

    I’m curious to have your feedback if you need this information for every policy. For the moment we’re planning to add it on the default view and only for the Orphaned Group filter.

    I’ll let you know when it’s done!

    Sorry for the late update but this will be pushed back for later on our roadmap.

    We’re currently working on supporting a custom storage, helping admins validate with owners the files that has been shared externally as well as help admins understand the business purpose for each group created.

    We’ll consider this later on as soon as we advance on the other items.
